Each Hexfit account, client or professional, must have a unique email address. If the email you enter is already in use, the solution depends on the type of account using it.
🔒 To protect everyone's data, a request to free up an email address must always come from the person who owns the account. |
The client already has a Hexfit account with another professional
This is the most common case: your client has already worked with another coach or another company on Hexfit.
When creating the client, choose Request access.
Your client receives the request and must approve it. Here's how the client approves the request.
Once the request is approved, refresh the page. The client appears in your contacts.
You don't need to create a new account: the client keeps their existing account and you get access to it.
The client has an old deactivated account
If the email belongs to an old deactivated client account, for example with another professional, your client must ask us to free up their address. They can write to support@hexfit.com from that address. Once the address is freed up, you can create the client normally.
The client created a professional account by mistake
Sometimes a client starts a professional free trial instead of using the invitation they received. You can't delete this account yourself, because it doesn't belong to your company.
Ask your client to write to support@hexfit.com from that address so we can free it up. You can then create their client account.
My client wants to change their email to an address already in use
A client can't use an address already linked to another account. They must write to support@hexfit.com from that address so we can fix the situation.
Another solution: an alternative email
You can also create the client with another email address. Keep in mind that the client will need to use this address to log in to the app.
